KNX gateway for Huawei Inverters
The KNX gateway for Huawei SUN2000 inverters provides a simple solution to transfer all relevant data from Huawei inverters to KNX. It allows integrators to take advantage of a fully integrated solar panel inverter, the data can be used to optimize energy consumption, monitoring, trending or to trigger specific action in the KNX installation.

DESCRIPTION
The KNX interface module INV-KNX is a KNX gateway for the Huawei SUN2000 inverters. It provides KNX group object for all relevant values from the inverter. See below for the complete list of objects.
This interface is intended to be used with a SUN2000 inverter. The inverters SUN2000 must be connected to the local network using a SmartDongle. For SUN2000L inverters, the connection is made through the local WIFI network.
CONNECTION
Elausys INV-KNX module is supplied from an external 12-30VDC power supply. An Ethernet RJ45 connector and a KNX connector provide access to the KNX bus and to the ethernet network. No additional component or wiring is required.
SOFTWARE
The KNX application software includes the following group objects. All group object are refreshed at a cyclic rate defined by an ETS parameters.
When the inverter is equipped with batteries or an external powermeter, these information are also available on the KNX gateway.
Depending on the inverter model, not all of these objects may be available. See user manual for more details. In case your inverter model is not yet supported, please contact us to see the compatibility or possibility to include it.

Logic Functions
The KNX logic module is a virtual extension module that is part of the ETS application on the inverters gateways. Each logic module includes 8 logic functions including logic gates, sequences, triggers, math operation and weekly calendar events.
- Up to 64 logic functions using extension modules
- Logic Gate with 8 inputs, configurable output delay and inversion
- Sequence with 4 steps, configurable outputs delays and datatypes
- Trigger with inputs logic, delays and weekly calendar events
- Math operations with configurable objects type and delays

Perfect Remote-Support to solve my problem
At the beginning there were difficulties with the Modbus communication between the Elausys Gateway and the SMA inverter.
All my attempts to find and solution for this problem failed. When I got stuck, i called the Elausys-Support-Team.
They connected to my site remotely. Luckily they was able to solve the challenge.
The SMA expects a special UnitID for communication with my SunSpec Profile (+123).

I bought the gateway for our SolarEdge SE10K. I had some problems during the installation and emailed ELAUSYS. After a TeamViewer session, all problems could be solved. The problem was with the inverter… The support was really fast, competent and friendly. Now everything works fine.
